PLEASE NOTE:
I am not able to accept new clients at this time. Thank you.

Elodie Andrews, MSW, LCSW
Somatic trauma therapy in St. Louis
What Services do you Offer?
I provide individual outpatient psychotherapy for ages 18 and up, both in-person and video / telehealth.
When needed, I coordinate care with other providers (only with your written consent). In some instances I can write letters for gender-affirming care. Group educational and support programs may be offered in the future; please let me know what topics might be of interest to you.
I am unable to provide couple, family, child, or teen therapy; court testimony; Emotional Support Animal Letters (ESAs).
What are your Rates?
Each therapy session is $140 for private pay; if using insurance, the copay/coinsurance rate will vary depending on your plan.
A missed appointment or late cancellation (under 24 hrs) will incur a $50 fee.
What insurance do you work with?
I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Original Medicare.
The only Medicare Advantage plans I can work with are ones managed through Aetna and Cigna.
Please check with your specific plan for coverage and rates including copay, coinsurance, deductible.
What if I have different insurance?
You will be responsible for the session fee up front and then can either not deal with the insurance company, or I'd be happy to provide you with a Superbill PDF for each session. The Superbill is a fancy receipt that you use to submit out-of-network claims with your insurance company, for partial reimbursement, and amounts depend on your plan. I have found that Reimbursify is a helpful service which streamlines the process for you, but does have fees.
What is a Good Faith Estimate and how to I get one?
If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me for a Good Faith Estimate before we start, or at any time during treatment.
How can I reach you?

You can connect for your Telehealth appointment by logging in at portal.therapyappointment.com. If we have technical issues, we have the option of switching to doxy.me/msandrews. Check out more information here on privacy while using telehealth.
Please note, I don't use texting or email with clients, and I don't accept connection requests on any social media. This is all to help protect your privacy and the therapeutic process. I maintain this professional website but I neither authorize nor monitor any other listing services of providers or businesses.
What if we have Severe Weather?
On some occasions I may need to close the office due to dangerous weather conditions such as tornado, ice storm, or the threat of extreme weather. If your appointment falls during one of these times, I will call you to let you know that the in-person appointment is canceled, and we can discuss alternatives. Alternative options include switching to a telehealth appointment or rescheduling for a different day.

The choice of a therapist is customized and personal, and you are free to choose and change your provider when you feel the need to. Coming to one appointment does not obligate you to continue if you find the therapist is not quite the best fit for you at that time.
